It is no secret that 2022 has gotten off to a rough start. Quite honestly, I have been in a major funk and it’s been tough getting back “to the grind”. Realizing this will now be third year we will be living in this pandemic is just heavy, stressful, and depressing. At first I truly didn’t think I would be able to sit down and make a list of 22 things I was going to get done this year. It took me days to even think of one. It wasn’t until my best friend sent me some of the items on her list that I finally got the spark to be able to complete mine. I was reminded any small thing counts. This isn’t a chore… it’s supposed to be inspiration. While I do have some “housekeeping” type items on my list, overall this is a reminder that no matter how small, I still have things to look forward to this year.
Here’s my 22 for 2022:
- Finish and publish book
- Write daily-even one sentence.
- Read daily- even one page.
- Read 2 “classics”
- Embark on reading Outlander series
- Monitor blood pressure daily
- More endurance cardio to lower resting heart rate
- Organize pantry
- Shred all old paperwork
- Set up filing/organization for paperwork
- Archive all old Instagram posts/writing
- Plan one epic trip
- Start learning photography
- Learn more Excel
- Get a bike/start bike riding
- One personal day a month OFF
- Try another new activity (kayaking/paddle boarding/rock climbing)
- Explore locally (state parks, nearby cities/towns)
- New recipe from a cookbook weekly
- Get designer handbag- FINALLY!
- Van Gogh in Charleston
- Create family tree
Here’s to 2022 🙂
Great list and best of luck in achieving all 22!
I wish I could get 2 things done on a list I make, if I even make one. Keep us posted please.
